Have a lot of these in the water.

Picked up green schedule 40 from Home Depot online;

Married them up, dropped them in, nice.

You can sink these to the bottom (tie down if nothing else), float them mid-depth, or at the surface (just insert the piping lateral and down and not up).

1/2" electrical conduit is $1.50ish for 10' sticks...I can't believe they can get away with selling green pvc for literally 10x more. $15 for 10'?

I have placed a dozen of these in my ponds - if you never have to move them, they're fine, otherwise the plastic hub tends to crack if you move them to seine, etc.

Over multiple seasons of ice fishing I'd drop my optics expecting to see fish, not once has the globe held fish. I hope your experiences are better than mine!

I have 6. They average 6 foot in depth. I used mixed lengths of electrical pvc conduit. They hold BG's at the bottom, but they are 25 feet away from my feeder.....

I only put one in the water, still got two more to put in but waters to cold. I'm gonna have to wade out in the water to put them out.

Put 12 of these in my 1-1/4 acre pond. All of them are 6' in diameter. There is a feature in the hub to tie a small rope to it and the other end to a brick. This works very well.

Made two really nice sized 'reefs' out of them in the deep area by dropping 3 of them in a row side-by-side. Rest of them are scattered around in strategic fishing areas. Seem to hold Crappies well.

My Son snagged one while cat fishing and brought it into shore, so I relocated it in a shallow cove. Visually you can see it doing its job by attracting little guys of all sorts. The proof of success is in the pudding as we catch numerous predators between it and the shoreline.
