John Fitzgerald J Joined: Oct 2015 Posts: 2,429 Likes: 20 S. end of Elkins, Arkansas	I have found the best trotline bait for CC over 3 pounds is a small BG or green sunfish about 2.5 to 3 inches. I have done it in local rivers in the past and caught lots of them. Liver and such will get nibbled off by BG and turtles.
