It seems photobucket is becoming full of errors and spam advertisements. I can't even upload photos anymore to host them online to link the pictures to pond boss forum. Anyone have suggestions on other online host for photos for the forum?

Agreed...PhotoBucket was ruined a couple of years ago. I still have an account, but it is so clunky, slow, and just a nightmare. I have not found the perfect replacement. PostImage.org is how I convert an image to have a URL now. They offer free hosting and subscription hosting. PostImage has pretty limited editing functions. https://postimage.org/For editing I use FotoFlexer, which is the old PhotoBucket edit functions, before PhotoBucket started ruining everything. http://fotoflexer.com/Both these sites can be used with or without signing in. To store pictures on PostImage in your own galleries, you have to sign in, but you can create a URL on PostImage without signing in and you can edit on FotoFlexer without signing in.

FWIW I received an e-mail from Photobucket a while back suggesting I upgrade to a paid account. Their reasoning was that it would eliminate the annoying pop up ads. Don't know for sure but it seems the annoying ads are by plan to force folks to start paying. No more pics than I post, I just try to do it early morning when the site is less busy and fight my way thru it.

Thanks Zep I`m gonna give photoimage a spin. Looks fairly simple for the use I need. Bill I know every company is looking for that extra penny drop in the bucket, but once I get blasted by 4 advertisements per click it turns me away from even considering paying to host a image on that site.

One thing to keep in mind. Whatever service you use, any photos here are lost if that account is deleted or even if you re-arrange your photos in your account such as Photobucket.
So, for any previous threads where you posted pictures, the pictures might be gone. The only way to put them back is to go back and edit your previous posts with new pictures.
That is a problem for threads that are in the archives. Some threads like structure/cover threads are pretty useless without pictures.

although they are taking over the world, Google Photo has unlimited storage and it is free. I have not moved over photo bucket as i have 30 GB there. I am possibly doing so soon. I plan to keep my pondboss folder on photobucket so i dont lose all my old links
