Pond Boss Forums AERATION Systems questions aeration ? in newly finished pond

Was wondering if I should put the vertex system in now while it is filling and place it exactly where I want it or should I wait until spring to drop it in?

if put in while filling will it get plugged up while things are settling? if I put it up off the bottom a foot or so sitting on concrete blocks plus the stand vertex provides will that keep it from getting covered with silt?

do you guys suggest 2 separate aerators, one shallow and one deep? pond is just under 3/4 acre and deepest part is 16 foot. large area is approximately 8 foot deep. 3 to 1 slope around most of pond except for the beach area. I read that shallow one is nice to have for winter if you want to open a hole for extended ice and snow cover.
