Here are pics of my pond shortly after completion, then almost 2 months later prior to Hermine making it here. It has already risen to almost 8 feet and the rain hasn't left.

I am trying to get ideas on a dock, I would like to put in a covered dock for my wife. But I don't want to build one that is too large and looks strange in a 3/4 acre pond. Any tips?

Early July (3 1/2 feet)

Late August (6 1/2 feet)

I built 2 12x12 floats that I was planning on putting a cheaper gazebo one one.

Since these docks have to be rebuilt every 8-10 I hate to build a wooden gazebo...but I might.

Nice layout for that dock for sure. Why do they have to be rebuilt so often, are you not using pressure treated wood?
