i'd be careful with a blanket statement "they will not compete with lmb". my research suggests that at relatively light stocking densities: 25-35 per acre, and with supplemental feeding, you will not notice a decrease in your forage population. but put in too many of these predators, and your future trophy large mouth population will likely suffer. jb
