Is it possible for a population to be stunted prior to reaching maximum size at minimum numbers and before becoming maximum numbers at minimum size? And is it possible for stunting to occur in one area of a 1.5 acre pond and not another? SE Florida area, bream, catfish, lmb, lots of minnows.

One size class can overpopulate and stunt. But that affects all smaller size classes eventually.
