Found a LMB sitting in the shallows today and the fish was almost totally black except that the tip of his tail was white where it should be black. Dorsal fin was also white. It appeared to be similar to a sunburn because where his pectoral fin pressed against his body was also white underneath. It reminded me of a dying salmon after the spawn. Thought I could grab him but he was alert enough to avoid me. Is this something to be concerned about or just a dying fish?
