I was micro fishin yesterday with 1/4" pieces of red worm and caught 3 Tilapia. I always have thought that they were strictly vegetarians, am I just so weird that only my Tilapia eat worms? Mr Cody, I am completely prepared for you to shoot me a list of approximately 8000 things that Tilapia will eat so fire away.
Do nature a favor, spay/neuter your pets and any weird friends or relatives.

Bob-O if you had more algae instead of all those pond plants, your tilapia would be too busy eating FA instead of sampling the red worm and making your micro-fishing very exciting. I have also caught tilapia on pieces of earthworm. It is interesting what they eat. The have the ability to digest almost anything that will grow in a pond. When preferred foods are sparse the tilapia sample just about everything in the pond searching for goodies.
