So went down to the pond yesterday and had some great fishing caught quite a few 18in and 20in LMB. We got to talking about the water how muddy it has gotten since we put the Grass carp in it to control the algae and weeds. Dad does not like that cause he thinks the Grass carp are ruining the pond by mixing up the water. I know thats not true but you can win against him. So now he does not want to put Channel catfish into out pond because he scared that the bass and bluegill wont get as big as they are now and it will make fishing for them harder. I need some good evidence on why CC are good for ponds and that it helps balance your fish population. We have a 1.5 acre pond thats 16 feet deep.
