I'm afraid to show it to my wife though. I'm afraid that design would work absolutely perfect out at my fish cleaning station on the dock.
After wife got tired standing after the first 15 fish she cleaned I pulled an old bar stool out of the tractor shed. You know, one of those things too good to throw away but not good enough for the house anymore so it gathers dust and bird poop for ten years THEN you throw it away. Well it worked great for her on the dock.
But your design would be the absolute cats meow!
Where did you get the ACME screw and nut? Doesn't possibly have an elevator usage does it?
Edit: Looked again. Those are just regular coarse threads, not ACME. My mistake!
