Very Cool! Do you know if they made any effort to acclimate the fish in the truck before they dumped them in? I remember seeing the video of the plane air dropping trout into a mountain lake and wondering "so no need to acclimate?" Trout can take the change in temps and water quality no problem?
Didn't ask which State Hatchery they came from, but Oden State Fish Hatchery is the Brown Trout spot.
Oden State Hatchery I would imagine the water is just as cold at the hatchery as in the channel. And, think they might know what they are doing.
If you ever get a the desire to visit a state hatchery, go for it. They are pretty cool places!
