Working up north a bit on a project and was asked if it's OK to make some water flow? Sure, no problem. What's up? MDNR is stocking (hatchery) fish and increased currents reduce initial predation from larger fish when you toss 20,000 snacks in the water.
BT were average about 6" coming out of the chute, but there are bigger salmonids in that channel that could gobble them up.
I kept the water going pretty good overnight and most of the day today.
Had to do some tests that stopped water flow, but the BT seemed to already make a home in the piles of rocks and concrete below the dam.
It was cool!
