I talked to another fishery and he said 1500 BG with 400 LMB.

How can they be so far off on the numbers?

400 LMB for a 1 acre pond sounds a bit strong to me. Sounds like someone may be trying to dump a bunch of fish on you. I would be much more prudent with a range from 50-100 max with regards to LMB. But that's me. Once those LMB spawn, man, you're gonna have an issue that may be hard to get control of and end up with a stunted pond. I'm sure one of the pro's will be along soon to give you a more accurate figure. I'd rather be patient and take baby steps than jump in with both feet and regret it. You can always add more later.
