I have a new 2 acre pond, 18 feet deep, filling steadily with the rain. I have an open loop ground source heat pump that puts well water into the lake at 5 gallons per minute. The water only flows when I use my A/C, which can be 50% of the time during the hottest part of the summer. The low oxygen water pressure is about 40 psig. Can anyone offer any thoughts,...Am I better off spraying this water across the surface, or installing a venturi type aerator at 10 feet deep, which would provide about 30 scfh of air to bubble up through the water.
