Want to make a trash rack to set over an 8" stand pipe that is 8-10 feet deep in my small pond. Was thinking of using pvc about 5 foot long and making a cross section with two threaded rods to set on top of stand pipe, but not quite certain how that would work.
Several questions:
- What material and size would be best to use?
- Would the rack need to be secured to the standpipe or can it just be set on the standpipe.
- Does anyone have diagrams or plans for a rack?
Appreciate any input you might offer.
