Female BG can have that coloration in clear dark waters (stained). I would have questioned the male status of CB1's BG due to the shape and size of the opercular(gill)flap. It would be very interesting to see the males from that water body. My guess is their gill flaps are noticeably different than that of the femaleBG in the picture.
