They are easy to catch if you remember two things:

1. Keep your bait close to the bottom.

2. Small minnows are the best bait.

I use a slip bobber rig and fish the minnow about 12 inches off the bottom. I also twitch it once in a while to get any nearby perch's attention.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
