Harvey- I've had my best luck catching the big snappers with a chunk of raw beef liver on a large single stainless steel hook. Probably time to take another couple dozen out of the pond again. Do you clean and eat 'em or just "relocate" them? They sure are good eating but I'd almost rather skin a skunk that clean a big 'ole turtle. I'd swear that hide is half steel mesh. Good luck. Dan
