Likely single most important thing you can do is to remove as many LMB as you possibly can--WAG somewhere in the several hundred range, at least until those remaining start to fatten up.
Close second and third--grow forage base through feeding of lepomis species, and stocking of lepomids of a size that won't become immediate snacks for your LMB. That means putting fish in the 6-8 inch range at the least. There is debate about introducing sunfish caught in other waters to a pond due to concerns about spreading disease, though I cannot recall any of our members citing specific negative experiences. Maybe those with more experience, such as Bill Cody or Essup, will chime in on this issue. IMHO, removing several hundred bass this spring/summer and adding a couple hundred large BG would give you the biggest jump on improving the fishery.
