This is my first post after reading and learning for about the past year. Finally took the plunge to try and achieve a dream I have had for many many years, owning land and a pond. Last spring I bought some property with a good friend and right away we decided to put a pond in. We choose a good time based on the amount of rain we received in East TX last year and by Sept we achieved full pool. Last fall we stocked CNBG, LMB & RES.
I would try and describe it but thought maybe a fly by might be the best way. I hope this works...
Not sure how big the pond is, guessing an acre. Purchased 130 acres between the 2 of us for hunting, fishing and relaxing. The bridge was a flat bed semi trailer. Some day we will deck it make it look a little nicer.
