If they spawn like BG there are probably at least some on beds nearly all summer long. At least in my pond there is an initial large spawn, but as long as conditions are favorable, I think I could find at least some on beds the rest of the season.

If PS act similar, would be easy for some individuals to overlap spawns.


I'm not positive but, as far as I've been able to find in literature, PS only spawn the one time a year; in the spring.
