Gypsum is very high in Sulfur in ratio to Calcium I personally would not use that product in great amounts in a pond or land application no mater how cheep it is.

If your pond needs sulfur great but it is a micro nutrient.

This is the same reason I do not like dolomite lime. The ratio of magnesium to calcium is to high for adding tones with out having high magnesium.... unless you want higher magnesium then its perfect.
