Yeah, after reading a few more things here I feel I need to determine exactly what I've got. The water coming out of the hill at the head of the pond appears to be what I've always thought would be considered a spring. but I'm not sure if a true spring would be affected by drought. I have wondered if opening up these "springs" would increase water flow, or just royally screw things up.
As for the stocking, I'd love catfish, bass or bluegill, and trout would be almost too much to ask for. I have a lot of research and book buying to do. just reading the posts here has given me a lot to think about.
