I placed my order for a new Mighty Toon Fishing Boat yesterday. I was told it should arrive next Wednesday or Thursday. Cant wait to try it out. I went with a mini pontoon boat that way I can leave it tied to the side of my pier Year Around and not have to worry about rain filling it up. They come lake ready with a trolling motor, On Board Charger, Seats and a bimini top. I added a swim ladder, 12v acc. plug and a boat cover.
Can't wait to see more photos of it in real life! Does it have one battery or two? Does it have a solar charger? You could easily add one.
You will want to think about adding some LED light bars for night time fishing and docking/undocking the craft.
You could also possibly add a fish light to attract night time fish while you sit on your pontoon!
It only has one battery, No Solar Charger, only an On Board Charger. Ive already ran power down to my dock so I can just plug it in when I'm done fishing. I have a bowfishing boat if and when we want to try for some Tilapia late season. But other than that I think the Mini Pontoon is set up just as I want it to be. I'm going to tether a floating fish basket to its side that way I can a keep my culled bass alive for measurements after fishing.
I think you will really like it. The mini-pontoon boats are very stable. We have a Paddle King 4 person paddle boat (the company also makes fishing boats like yours) and are very happy with it.
One thing I will say, the comfort of sitting on a nice, flat, stable platform comes at a price of it catching a lot of wind on a windy day. I finally put permanent mooring lines around my pond so on windy days we can still use it. Tried anchors but the moorings work so much better. Otherwise the pontoon boats sit so high in the water that the wind really blows them around making them hard to handle on a windy day.
I put mine in the pond around mid March and pull it out the first of December. The rest of the time it stays tied to the dock when not in use.
I think I can see why it can't be made into a "T", but why couldn't you take a 20' long 6' wide section and put it crossways at the end of the walkway? Use the same posts to anchor it down. Or, is there a limit to the lengths of the posts?
The two pieces couldn't be connected together, but wouldn't that do the same thing?

David if you don't mind me asking what's the price tag?
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Scott you would think that would probably work.
It does say on their dock page that...Poles are available in any length up to 20'
But I don't think that would be an issue in my pond.
I almost afraid to ask what shipping costs from Michigan to Texas would be?
Scott...I talked to Mark at the factory in Michigan and he said that presently the closest dealer to Texas is in Mizzou. The dealer in Ark is getting out of the business and doesn't have any more stock. He said generally shipping is pretty cost prohibitive but that the new dealer in MO is ordering a lot of stock and they may be willing to ship a 30 foot dock to Texas. He said both the widths are stable, but he said the 6 foot wide dock is super stable.

That's really not a bad price. If I was really into night time crappie and trout fishing on the local local lakes it might be worth putting one on a trailer!
