Just got blasted with a good storm of every type of frozen and not so frozen precip. Except hail.
Wound up with more than a foot of layer cake, and the bottom-most sodden slush when it rained heavily for 3 hours in sub-freezing air on 8 inches of fresh snow before slowly coming back to snow. No wind really, just heavy, wet snow.

Sounds brutal!

I wanted to call a place in Rochester, NY where I get my veggie seeds, and they were closed today due to the storm.

looked at the forecast her in N FL and every day forecasted up until 2/24 is 63-75 degrees with 40-50's lows. After march first is pretty rare to get a freeze.

I think I might plant some tomatoes this weekend and see I can get a jump on things.

Sure has been a mild winter.

Bobby, you Northern crackers are in a chilly zone. The forecast for central Fl is 70-75 and lows of 50-61. Altho we had a frost last week.
I also have been considering getting some Tomato and Pepper plants. In 6 weeks when I head back ta In I'll have some 18" plants. I do have a batch of Cilantro going.
