The back of my dam is somewhere between 20 deg and 30 deg. at it's steepest. I use my tractor and brush cutter but only going downhill in the lowest gear to keep speed to a minimum. There is very little of the dam where I'd feel comfortable going sideways but, then again, I'm not really comfortable going downhill. I'm glad I only do it once per year.
