Greg, Friend of mine has a 2 acre pond and told me over the weekend that he has never applied ag lime and when he fertilizes he adds 50 pounds of hydrated(sp?) lime which DNR recommended a few years ago. Is that not risky and have you ever heard that from an DNR agent?
Says he get a good bloom and has done this for years.
