I tend to agree with Cecil. What kind of a person resists learning new things. What kind of a person argues with those who are more knowledgeable than him? What kind of a person provides endless sarcasim to a friend?
When you are wrong, change.
When you are right, don't let those who are wrong affect you.
When you are unsure, keep quite and study.
