The first day of Winter, or the Winter Solstice, to me is the best part of winter, as from this day forward every day becomes just a little bit longer

I know many of you like and/or look forward to this time of year, but for me,,,, Spring is just around the corner
As for today, I hope those of you in the path of the storms blanketing the Eastern half of the U.S. stay safe!
PS - We're getting a lot of rain here, now turning to snow but it doesn't look like it's going to last, stick, or accumulate. So maybe I should start my Christmas shopping
