I stocked my 1/3 acre pond with forage fish this spring with hopes to stock it in the next spring with some game fish. George peaked my interest when he said it was feasible to stock HSB in my small pond. I've been contemplating between HSB and CC. After thumbing through my latest issue of Pond Boss magazine and finding out that George has passed I've decided to stock HSB. I regret that I never got meet George in person but I think I would have a lot in common. Mainly fishing and being a veteran. Thank you for your contributions George, if you ever want to cast a line in my pond, you are more than welcome.

If you are stocking HSB in George's honor, you MUST only use a flyrod to fish for them!!
George would be happy. He loved HSB.

The one thing is the one thing A dry fly catches no fish Try not to be THAT 10%

highflyer I totally agree. I'm sure I could annihilate HSB on live bait but it wouldn't be as fun. My only experience with fly rods has been 30 minutes of cussing and 1.5 hours of unwinding the string and reeling it back on the other direction. When I do start fishing my pond it will be fly rods for adults and whatever goes for the kids.
