There are Yellow Perch in the pond as well. So far everything is reproducing except evidence of the YP. Though it could be that the SMB are just really hammering the YoY Perch and I'm not seeing them.
I'm not catching as many BG as I'd like to be hand removing, but if it starts getting way out of hand, I'll add some LMB or cages to the pond. So far it hasn't been terrible. The Heron's like to help out a lot as well..
As far as weight ratio goes. I typically just weigh the fish. I could start measuring them, but I don't care enough to be honest. You can tell the healthy fish from the average from the not so good. Usually I remove anything that doesn't look to be thriving.
