It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Hoping we get some. Has been a 70% chance given for today, for the last 3 days. When I got up this morning it was still set at 70%, now it's dropped to 60%. Not the direction I was hoping for.

"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?
PB answer: It depends.

On the weather channel they showed a (I believe) 58 car train and both locomotives that were pushed off the tracks by flood waters there.

We in a desert here in Oakwood. We managed to get 2-1/2" here real slow with no runoff. Pond is still near 3' low.

They have moved our chances of rain to 100% for Tuesday night thru Wednesday but none of their crystal balls are predicting quantity yet. Pros and cons for big rain and soft gentle rain for me. A nice .5 to 1 gentle rain will help get the grass seed going but do nothing to fill the pond. A big gully washer will probably wash out part of the seed but could bring the pond up a good bit to start winter. Win I lose. Lose I win. Worse case scenario is not enough to help either one!

Here, estimations are for maybe an inch. Rain Tues night, scattered rain Wed. Radar track looks to be more to the South than earlier tracks.

Thanks Zep! Unfortunately, luck and I don't seem to get along. If I won a lottery it would be in Illinois and they are in a lawsuit for not paying!

Went yesterday and looked at mine. We got about 5 inches and I figure I might have come up 6 or 7 inches. I'm still down over 3 ft.

They are saying an 80% chance for a 1/4" of rain for NE Missouri. I'll take whatever I can get. Pond is down two feet since Aug 1. Have had a total of one once since then.
Last Oct we had about 12" and put 8' of water into my new pond. Times sure change.

12 yr old pond, 1 ac, 15' deep.
RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (decreasing), SMB, and HSB (only two have been seen in 5 yrs)
I think that's about all I should put in my little pond.

One of my drivers was on I-45 in Corsicana when the highway was closed down at 2:00 pm due to high water. He didn't move until 11:00 pm that evening. That was a very long day.

We got 8 inches in 48 hours but we are still about a foot and 1/2 low. Expecting more rain next weekend.
