Northern bass will stay active longer than southern bass but your presentation will have to slow down as temps drop until live bait is almost your only option. My water is in the upper 40's but I am still feeding bass in my pond. However they act like they are in slow motion and for the most part hardly make a splash.

I do know anglers that are very succesfull jigging for largemouths through the ice with jigging rapalas. So the don't completely shut down.


If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
