Hey everyone first post on this forum! We are in the process of renovating several ponds on our property and adding aeration systems to them. There is no electric available so solar systems it is. Both ponds will be roughly 1.5 acres and at least 20' deep. Been researching this topic for weeks and the main problem I have had is sourcing a pump that's up to the task. For maximum efficiency on DC power a Brushless motor is a must. Also needs to be able to pump enough volume of air to that depth.
