Spark, if the finer droplets of water evaporate somewhat faster, causing an evaporative cooling effect, will it offset the increase in temps for the pressure generated heat of a surface aerator's prop? If the net effect is cooler water, will the cooled pond also evaporate faster due to the a increased air/water temperature differential...?

Yes. Except in Texas. There are no finer droplets in Texas. Everything is bigger in Texas.

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1) And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1) Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT? PB answer: It depends.

So by virtue of evaporation, surface aeration gives us cooler water but less water overall remains in the pond, when compared to bottom aeration? (higher evap. rate) So extrapolating even further and thinner,  surface aeration in a drought ridden area where every drop counts, will contribute to daily water loss to a greater degree than bottom aeration will? I believe that to be true. But then you can replenish the water from a well if one is available and the water quality is OK.
