Shawn, to attempt to derail a train, you can put some debris on the track. Heck, it worked in the movies. To make sure the train driver doesn't see it and slow down, you select a spot just around the bend. To get a good ringside seat, you hide in the weeds in a straight line just the other side of the debris. I would not recommend the use of a spare tire as part of the debris.
