Pond Boss Forums INTRO Questions & Observations May/June PB on the Street

Got mine while we were gone over the the last week.

What a fun issue. The only bad part was that I read the whole thing from cover-to-cover last night when I should have been trying to go to sleep.

The really fun thing about this issue goes back to something an old friend told me many years ago. She owned a number of small-town weekly newspapers. She out-competed all the bigger daily newspapers in our area for ads and community support. She told me that to be successful, you have to include lots of photos of people who will be recognized as friends and acquaintances of the readership. This issue on Pond Boss really does that.

We've had a lot of people make some huge differences in a many lives. We've had a number of TV shows by some, we now have a TV series by others, and we have had multiple TV shows showing the backs of the heads of the two people highlighted in the lead article this month. Many others have gone on to national prominence in major media feature stories. We've had several book signings by our friends and active PB members -- the latest being the great pond building book by Mike Otto -- "Just Add Water".

Who would have thunk it 10 years ago? I'm really proud to be a Pond Boss celebrities "groupie".

Anyway, this was a pretty special issue of the Magazine.
