I had a good bloom in my 100 acre lake. 18 inch on disk. Left for 4 days and it was completely gone. Visability at 3 feet. This is my 1st fertlization is that normal. Alk 20 ph 7.

Timnic, you can go to the forum list and look under fertilization for some answers on fertilization. I had to fertilize twice this spring. I fertilized once and got a bloom but it fell back and after waiting two weeks I fertilized a second time. It has seamed to hold to 18" this time. Your alk. seams to be low to me (my alk is 110) but maybe someone with more exp. will jump in.

Very common to lose a bloom in the spring especially if the weather turns cold or lots of rain occurs.
