Jeepers - you two are inspiring.

TJ, I wish you could have met Mrs. Glazener at the conference. Nicky has always been kind and let George tag along with her when she went fishing. And, she's just a flat out wonderful lady.

George can probably date this Lake Texoma pic. I believe those were the Falcon boat days.

Yep, that's back in my old Falcon Grande Texoma striper fishing days.
There is a story behind that photo - we had to start taking pictures of our fish because the striper guides would not believe our fish tales. She caught more trophy stripers on that lake than any guide - yeah but I get the credit since I taught her...grin

We are both lucky with our women folk!

George, sometime I think the girls have more faness smile and I know most can out fish most men using a plastic worm, so u cn take some of the credit for teaching her the basics or mabe putting her where the fish are but she is most likely smoother. smile

There is absolutely nothing more satisfying to my very being than prowling our pond banks in early morning sunrise with fly rod in hand.

That was the case this morning - life is good.

I'll bet that grass carp was fun.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

It was a blast Dave - they don't make longs runs like HSB but GC will make bass run for cover and hide their faces in shame... grin

Caught on 7 wt TFO mangrove with Chunk Fly, "a pattern that loks like a piece of chum". smile

About like roping a freight train. All you can do is hang on.
