Probably not. As I said, they pose no risk to humans. Also, I think the infestation would have to be very severe to significantly affect your fish.
The life cycle of these parasites is pretty complex and generally involves a bird (King fisher?),a snail and a fish. This makes controlling them somewhat difficult but stocking snail eating fish may help.
