I have tried and tried to get adult YP to feed and until tonight had zero success. So last year I took a small BOW and stocked GSF with YP. My hope was the aggressive GSF would "teach" the YP to eat pellets. Got the call tonight that the YP are being seen taking pellets. "Racing the GSF" to the pellet. After a month or so, I will disperse these feed trained YP into a wild perch only pond.
I am ecstatic that the plan actually worked! I guess it's true, that a blind squirrel does finds a nut once and awhile.
