That recommendation seems high for a 1/2 acre pond - specifically the 50 catfish and 50 largemouth bass. 100 predators will dine on your goldfish and the new forage fish right quick perhaps.
What are your goals for the pond?
Do you want big bass?
Do you want catfish for eating?
