As some of you know. We built our 9.5 acre lake 3 years ago. And I put a partial stocking of 900 CNBG, 200 RES and 20 lbs.FHM in that year based on the estimated size of the lake. Last Spring I stocked 3400 CNBG 850 RES and 120 lbs fhm.
As well as 500 Fingerling Northern Bass.
Heres my problem (Maybe)
My other pond that I have fished religiously for 3 years, which I (supposedly) stocked with fingerling F1 at the same time they stocked my big lake with the partial stocking of CNBG and RES. I haven't caught a single bass out of it yet. So yesterday I finally had enough and made 4 cast into my big lake for the first time ever and caught 7 Bass. 3 of them weighed in at 2.9 lbs and 17" long. Is it possible for bass to be that big if they were just stocked as fingerlings last year????
Or are my assumption right of thinking that they stocked 50 Fingerling F1s in there 3 years ago?
Also, I stocked 100 lbs of Tilapia in the lake last spring. And will be doing this again this year.
Any input is much appreciated.
