After taking on caring for a waterway and installing 2 fountains I found a unique use for one of the fountains. There's a patio area besides the chapel where ducks and geese like to hang out. I installed a 1400JF in the water along side of the patio. The fountain is connected to a Woods 50015 digital timer on a random setting. The fountain unpredictably turns on frightening any waterfowl that are near by. And the birds think that there's an item in the water with unpredictable behavior they'll avoid it. So far it works.

neat idea! I've struggled for years with geese, trying to keep them run off. Something else to try.
