Have looked at many posts on the great pond forum resource for awhile, but never posted till now. Here's our pond: Live by Pella, Iowa. Have a "melting pot" 4 acre pond with BG, YP, LMB, CC, RES, WE, & HSB. Max depth is around 18'. Started using a Texas Hunter feeder last year, & the BG, CC, & HSB loved it. Fed Aquamax sportfish. 8" HSB were stocked fall of 2013 & 2014. Am hoping to get HSB pushing 10# down the road. Have an Aquamaster aerator with 3 diffusors which have helped us avoid winter or summer kills thus far.

Welcome to PB Greg. Sounds like you are pretty well set up.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
