Why thread in over standard gizzard?? G shad I hear can do better in smaller places than t shad. I netted 5 g shad in western south dakota 2 weeks ago. Unless the majority of the adult LMB in the pond are over 22" or so, I wouldn't stock Gizzard Shad. They can grow from egg to larger than most LMB can eat in less than one year. I don't know of any northern ponds or lakes that have LMB large enough to control the adult GS.
