I have only used one dye in my pond and it has worked quite well. Aqua Shade works for me. I use 1 gallon per acre and then 12 to 14 o.z. after that each month on the same day to help keep it fresh if needed. That's just me others I sure can chime in.
Be careful though that you don't kill off all your plants at one time and have a D.O. crash. If you have air in your pond that would help compensate for some of it. There are drawbacks to using dye as far as blooms go I won't get into that as I don't know specifics.
How may grass carp are you getting? It's always better to go a little less on the carp then to many. They are a pain to get out of the pond once they are in there. I have 5 in my 1 acre pond and they seem to do a fair job. I bet 10 or 12 in your pond would do well. Some folks will say you need 10 to 12 per acre but I think that a little overkill. That's just me though.
