Have a 2 month old .25 acre pond that is groundwater fed. The pond is 10' deep. I'm just north of Savannah, GA and would like to add some vegetation before adding forage fish to the pond. Does anyone have info on viable vegetation for this area?  Thanks in advance.

Ill second that question (I'm in NC). I have a 2 acre pond (with bass/brim/cats) on the home we recently purchased. No plants in the pond but lots of trees surrounding it. Hoping to put something in that can help use the nutrients in the water, help keep out the algea, and act as good fish benefit. There are also lots of big bullfrogs and turtles in the pond.

Guys,
I have some info on vegetation for Illinois ponds but doubt it would be applicable to your area. I got some good info online from the Illinois DNR. You might try googling you state DNR sites for info.
