Back in the late 80's, I rebuilt some equipment for Westinghouse in Puerto Rico. It was shipped to their plant in Arroyo. Yep, pretty heavy duty shipping crates I built!
Got there before they arrived so I could open them and inspect for damage (or if someone stole something en route)
There were more than a few people anxious for the crate materials.
Got everything unpacked, and that crate material just vanished! Gone in 60 seconds!
Yep, there was an addition to somebody's house that day
BTW, the military has been doing the quick deploy stuff for quite some time. Yep, they can drop some pretty impressive stuff from the sky. Probably handle bullets better as well.
